Treatwell commission calculator

What do first-booking commissions cost you?

Treatwell's pricing page says it charges commission on a new marketplace client's first booking, and none on their repeat bookings. Put in your own numbers to see what those first bookings cost.

Treatwell's pricing page states that all commissions and fees are subject to VAT. Including-VAT figures use the UK standard rate of 20% (gov.uk). If you are VAT-registered you may be able to reclaim it.

This is a cost, not a saving. It does not count the value of the new clients a marketplace can bring you, and it does not include any monthly fee.

Why have your own

A booking site for your shop

A marketplace can bring you new faces. A booking site of your own gives the clients you already have a direct way to book you.

Treatwell's pricing page says bookings made directly with you, including through the "Book Now" button on your own website, are not charged commission.

  1. Your shop, not a listing

Your booking site is for your shop alone, rather than one listing among other shops.

  2. A direct route for regulars

Give the clients who already know you an obvious place to book you directly.

  3. Built for your shop

Each site is quoted for the shop it's for, so there's no one-size price list.

  4. Your call on marketplaces

Having your own site doesn't mean you have to leave a marketplace. What you do with it is up to you.

How it works

Three steps, starting with an email

  1. Email us about your shop

Who you are, where you are, and how clients book with you now.

  2. A quote for your shop

Telio is priced by quote, so there's no price list.

  3. We build it

Your booking website and your owner admin app.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Ask something else

How much does Telio cost?

We quote each shop separately, so there's no price list on this site. Email us about your shop to ask for one.

Do I have to leave Treatwell?

No. Whether you use a marketplace is your decision. When you email, tell us how you take bookings now.

Does the calculator show how much I'd save?

No. It shows what commission on first bookings would cost at the numbers you enter, before VAT. It doesn't count the value of new clients a marketplace brings you, any monthly fee, or what Telio would cost.

Where do the Treatwell figures come from?

From Treatwell's public pricing page (https://www.treatwell.co.uk/partners/pricing/), checked on 10 October 2026. It gives a 35% + VAT commission on first bookings from new marketplace clients, subject to location, and a 2.5% + VAT fee on online prepayments. Your own agreement may differ, so check it.

Can I see what a site looks like?

Yes. There are five example sites for a barber, a braids studio, a hair salon, a nail studio and a beauty studio. The shops are made up and the photos are stock photos.

Where do you work?

Telio is for barbers and salons in the UK, and we're starting in Greater Manchester. If you're somewhere else, email us anyway.

What happens after I email?

Your email is a request for a quote. Telio is priced by quote, so there is no fixed price list.

What do you do with my email?

We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote you ask for. The privacy notice has the details. This site has no cookies, no analytics and no forms.
